Storytellers whose photos appear in black-and-white below have been interviewed and are in the process of being added to the site.

We regularly add to this historic legacy with new interviews, as funding allows.

A Bit About the
Archives...
Storytellers may choose to participate in one or the other of the two collections within the Legacy Project—either participating in an oral history interview or donating their materials to the archive, or both. The Storytellers’ Legacy Project is a unique repository because of the way its two Collections—material and oral—may work in tandem with one another.  By housing the SLP Oral History Collections and the SLP Material Artifacts Collections under the umbrella of one central Project, the two may do together what no singular collection could for the storytelling community and posterity. Through these tandem collections, storytellers are able to record, in their own words, what mattered to them about the matter they leave behind. Learn more about the collection at www.oursrp.org
Add to the Legacy
We are constantly adding to this living archive, and we are currently accepting recommendations from the community of storytellers that might be interested in having their legacy recorded and added to this site.

Please fill out the form to the right with contact information and a note on the teller you would like to recommend. We appreciate your suggestions!
